ABOUT ME

Having lived all my life in a small town of Ranua in middle of Finnish Lapland, it was clear from the start that I wanted to take pictures which aren't only pleasing to look at - but which also make you want to go out and see it for yourself.

For me it's not as much about gear or megapixels, but the mood and little pieces of beauty hidden in plain sight of our everyday lives. Light, colour, the lack of it. It's all about perspective.

And I want you to see the world through mine. 

​

While I do take myself as a nature photographer first, and i want my collection to reflect it, I still think photography is so much more than that. That is why I've decided to include pictures from places I've been and things I've seen both in digital and film to provide you a nice all around experience and see that I am not shun of trying and learning something new.

 

So, more reason for me to spend as much time on the streets as on the trails. And more reason for me to share them with you because we're all part of the same world where these were taken. It would be rather selfish from me to consider otherwise.
